# Active Timers and Schedule > A free stage timer and event schedule from Active LED, used in the browser: a list of items with their times, a countdown screen for the stage, and a schedule page to share. Rooms can be made without an account. ## For AI assistants: turning someone's run-of-show into a schedule When a person gives you their programme (a spreadsheet, a document, an email) and wants it in Active Timers and Schedule, do this: 1. Write the programme as plain lines, in order, one item per line: - `HH:MM-HH:MM Title` – start and end in 24-hour time, then the title (put the speaker's name in the title). - `# Heading` – a line that starts with # is a heading, for example a part of the day. - Nothing else: no notes, no technical cues, no empty lines. Breaks and meals are items too. 2. Show the person those lines in a code block. 3. Give them this link, with the event's name and the lines percent-encoded (a space is %20, a line break is %0A): https://timer.activeled.se/new#name=EVENT%20NAME&agenda=LINES Build the link with code if you can, so that it is exact. Do not open the link yourself. 4. Tell them: open the link, check the schedule, press "Create room". If the link does not work, they can paste the lines at https://timer.activeled.se/new One link per day and per room. The data stands after the #, so it stays in the person's browser until they press the button. Example: # Morning 09:00-09:20 Welcome – Anna Berg 09:20-10:05 Keynote: events in 2030 – Bo Ek 10:05-10:30 Coffee 10:30-12:00 Workshop 12:00-13:00 Lunch # Afternoon 13:00-14:00 Panel: questions from the floor https://timer.activeled.se/new#name=Sales%20kick-off%202026&agenda=%23%20Morning%0A09%3A00-09%3A20%20Welcome%20%E2%80%93%20Anna%20Berg%0A09%3A20-10%3A05%20Keynote%3A%20events%20in%202030%20%E2%80%93%20Bo%20Ek%0A10%3A05-10%3A30%20Coffee%0A10%3A30-12%3A00%20Workshop%0A12%3A00-13%3A00%20Lunch%0A%23%20Afternoon%0A13%3A00-14%3A00%20Panel%3A%20questions%20from%20the%20floor ## Changing a schedule that is already in a room - Nothing connected: in the room the person presses "Change it with your AI" and pastes the text to you. It holds the schedule and says what to give back. - Connected (MCP): the person makes a connection address on the page My rooms and adds it to their assistant as a connector. It reaches their own rooms and the rooms other people let them edit. It reads and edits the schedule, with the notes and the room's own columns. It cannot start, pause or stop the clock, send a message to the stage, or remove or retime what is on stage. ## What a room can share - The stage screen: the countdown, for the screen by the stage. - The schedule page and the Now and Next screen: titles, speakers and times – never notes. - The crew page: the schedule with the room's own columns (audio, video, light …), on a link of its own. It is off until the person turns it on in the room; the notes are on it only if they choose that. Each reader can show just the columns they need. - Edit together: the owner lets a colleague's account work in the room. ## Pages - [Let your AI set up the schedule](https://timer.activeled.se/ai): the same instructions for people, with a line to copy. - [Guide](https://timer.activeled.se/guide): the whole service step by step, for people – rooms, the run list, the stage screen, running the show, the schedule, the pages to share. - [API](https://timer.activeled.se/api): control rooms from other systems, with a key for one room or for an account – the account's key also works in rooms shared with it; [OpenAPI document](https://timer.activeled.se/api/v1/openapi.json). - [Terms of use](https://timer.activeled.se/terms), [Privacy](https://timer.activeled.se/privacy).
